Literary and terminological research of Ijtihad

 The word ijtihad is not used in the Qur'an, but modern thinkers deduce or ijtihad from this verse of the Qur'an. The Qur'anic injunction is: "We show the way to those who strive." In which the book and wisdom are described as the gift of God, in one place wisdom is said to be good. The Holy Quran also said that my verses are for the thinkers.

Literary  and terminological research of Ijtihad

 The word ijtihad is derived from jihad. The literal meaning of jihad is to strive. Jihad is also derived from jihad. Mujahid, mujtahid and mujaddid are also derived from jihad. If so, the solution should be explained according to the requirements of the time, which is not in conflict with the spirit of Islam, but in accordance with the spirit of Islam. Ijtihad does not apply to Muslims. Or not read. Instead of five daily prayers, prayers should be offered only twice a day keeping in view the busy schedule. This is not possible because the five daily prayers have been proven by the Qur'an and Sunnah. However, ijtihad may be that the qadha prayer may be offered in certain circumstances. It is narrated that when the Prophet appointed Hazrat Mu'adh bin Jabal as the Governor of Yemen Did you ask him how he would make decisions among the people? The Companions replied. According to the Qur'an, he said that if that issue was not mentioned in the Qur'an, then he said, "I will decide according to your Sunnah." He said, "If that problem is not found in the Sunnah, then what will you do?" Then I will use my intellect to form an opinion. Hazrat Mu'adh ibn Jabal said, "I will form my opinion without any hesitation." Hearing these words, the Holy Prophet slapped him on the chest and prayed for him. This incident indicates ijtihad. Muslims created mujtahids, muftis and muhaddiths who in every age have explained the solution of life's problems in the light of Qur'an and Sunnah and wherever a new problem has arisen it has solved it in the light of argument. The use of intellect is preferred in the Qur'an. "Afla Yaqloon" is the proof of the greatness of intellect. The Qur'an condemns tafsir on the basis of opinion and debate on similarities. The ancient jurisprudence promoted imitation. These people began to look for solutions to the problems of life in the fatwas of their respective jurisprudential imams. The ummah of the imitators appeared. By handing over Islam to the scholars and jurists, the common Muslim vowed to imitate. It is true that a doctor can cure a disease, not an engineer. It is true that an engineer can make a road or a building map, not a doctor. Therefore, in religious matters and rulings, the opinion of religious scholars will be given priority and no public opinion will be considered valid, but religion is not a department or a job. Five daily prayers, Friday prayers, Eid prayers, funeral prayers and nikah are offered to every Muslim. Should come so that Islam can be decorated and settled in their lives. It is true that a doctor can cure a disease, not an engineer. It is true that an engineer can make a map of a road or a building, not a doctor. Therefore, in religious matters and rulings, the opinion of religious scholars will be given priority and no public opinion will be considered valid, but religion is not a department or a job.
